Welcoming the anticipated success of 2026 with open hearts, minds and arms!

The Affordable Housing Conference (AHC) looks forward to 2026 that brings together the most forward thinking minds and diverse group of individuals to accelerate solutions when it comes to the development of housing, essential infrastructure and access to health.

Where our priorities are: people, place, projects, prosperity, protection and preservation are all at the core of a larger mandate by hosting the largest conference of its kind in Canada that connects, represents, educates; improves communities and the lives of those most in need.

Through multi-level collaboration, sponsors, investors, accelerators, innovators and extending an invite to the table decision makers that were previously not on others list, AHC showcases an ambitious, yet critical goal of doing our part in addressing the housing crisis at a Local, National, and International Level to ensure more people, specifically: the unhoused, Indigenous Communities, Black Communities, visible minorities, Single Parent Families, Seniors and Students has a stable, safe and suitably-affordable place to call home in 2026.

On behalf of AHC, may the start of a new calendar year represent our global invitation to be at the forefront of positive change in 2026. We look forward to achieving rapid development and continued progress throughout 2026 and in the years to follow.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Affordable Housing Conference (AHC) and IDEAS HC acknowledges that we respect, live, learn, work and play on the traditional territories. We are genuinely in gratitude for the opportunities past, present and future and that our works would not be possible without the preliminary works of the original people of these lands and the many other lands we set foot on around the world.

In our efforts in reconciliation and meeting current times, the Affordable Housing Conference founder took heart into action, and founded its vision, mission and goal with recollection, appreciation and continuous understanding in mind, to address the needs for quality housing and equitable advancement for the original people, the Indigenous Peoples of Canada.

“In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis, and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, îethka Nakoda Nations: Chiniki, Bearspaw, Goodstoney and Tsuut’ina Nation. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Otipemisiwak Métis Government of the Métis Nation within Alberta Districts 5 and 6.”
