Held during the same time of the Affordable Housing Conference & Strategy Meetings for Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Communities of Gathering Tribes & Nations (AHCIC 2026) guest and vendors will be excited to meet and greet local and international attendees.

Guest are welcome to shop and socialize with market hours open during and after the conference. The market runs Thursday March 26, 2026 – Saturday March 28, 2026 with activities for families throughout the day.

As a secondary location for attendees, the market is creating a meaningful, safe gathering place “located on the traditional and ancestral territory of the the Blackfoot Confederacy – Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika – the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney Nakoda, and the Tsuut’ina Nation and the Métis People of Alberta, as well as the unceded territory of the Ktunaxa and Secwépemc” in Banff, Alberta, Canada welcoming all to attend, enjoy & grow.

This initiative is designed to foster education and cultivate meaningful partnerships within the Indigenous business community. Each vendor team is granted the opportunity to register one member for up to six workshops during the market. These workshops are curated to enhance business knowledge, skill development, and the ability to maintain an active and competitive presence in the evolving business landscape. This professional development component underscores the Market’s commitment to empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs with the tools and connections necessary for sustained success.
